Saying one thing, doing another

So I just found out that a person that I know has his child support paid through his employer. Who cares, right? Well, apparently his employer has been late with payments and it’s going to wind up costing my friend his freedom if the payments aren’t made.

The point here is that when someone tells you that they’ll do one thing and you have an agreement for that action to be carried out in a timely fashion, what becomes of the agreement when the other party just neglects their duty to the agreement? I mean come on - this isn’t like promising that you’ll be somewhere at 6PM and then getting there at 6:10PM. If this guy doesn’t have his child support paid - he could get arrested!

Ah, just another day in the life of the Jersey Shore - where it doesn’t matter what you do or say, but rather how well you fool someone else while doing and saying it.
