Going to the gym

One of the worst things about going to the gym - for me at least - is trying to find a time to go when the proper equipment is open for use. If there’s one thing that I HATE - it’s going to the gym when there is a huge crowd and you either have to use machines that you’re not familiar with or weights that you don’t particularly care for.

Petty? Somewhat. Major nuisance? Absolutely.

However, since this entry has something to do with the gym, I will say this: For those of you who have fallen out of the keeping in shape cycle or for those of you who never really got into it - you should seriously consider joining a gym or workout place. I stopped working out regularly when I graduated high school. When I graduate college last spring I told myself, “Hey - enough’s enough - you lounged around for a while, now get your ass back to work.” Well, after that I told my conscience to go fuck itself, but somewhere around the beginning of February or so, I got back into that going to the gym “groove.”

Now granted, I’m no where near the all-state athlete that I was a few years ago, but I’ll tell you this - it feels great to be back working out again everyday. =)
