Do Your Job, You Idiot

The items that I listed as “going to get done” in my previous post did, in fact, begin today. However, I was really insulted and aggravated when one of the Financial Aid people told me that I call them too much!
Hmmm - this story could go on forever and I’m sorta tired - so here’s the abridged version. In the past two weeks I’ve called their office about four times (though I called them twice in a row today). But the thing is that they keep sending me these obscure pieces of paper in the mail with a balance due here and an award (statement of loan amount) there - so I have to call and ask them what the hell is going on!
Now, I called them this past Monday to see what it is that I have to do with the latest round of paperwork, and basically they told me to sit tight and relax. In the mean time, I got another piece of paper from them that says to make sure that I don’t owe and extranneous paperwork to their office or my money will be withheld - well shit! We don’t need that now do we?
So I called them today and asked them about this “paperwork” and they didn’t see anything outstanding, but they did instruct me to print out a copy of my financial aid awarded (from their website) and send it to the Registrar…side note - isn’t that THEIR job? Anyway, I thanked her, hung up, and looked up their website and my account information.
But lo and behold! They list me as only a part-time student!!! A mistake on THEIR part on THEIR website! So I had to call back and confirm my appropriate, full-time status and to make sure that the award letter that I had previous received was, indeed, false and that more money was on the way. Well, after being put on hold for a few minutes, I was “greeted” by some girl telling me that I call their office too much and that everyone in their knew my name and my story.
Well isn’t that a bitch little miss thing?!?
So, after being thoroughly insulted by this little dunce on the phone and being told that I call them “everyday” (which, by the way, I corrected her - a few times and got pissed while having to repeat myself to her - and told her that I only called four times in fourteen days and only in response to their obscure mailings), in the end, I did get the extra bit of money that had been missing and that had really been fucking me up in my plans for the past few days.
I “call too much”…oh fuck off! Do your damn job and answer my fucking questions you scumbag! And if you don’t like it, then don’t send out obscure letters and don’t put incorrect information on your website and don’t work in a business that is CUSTOMER/STUDENT SERVICE BASED!
And to think - I go out of my way to help students whenever I can and these types of people won’t hire me…but yet these morons get mad when they have to DO THEIR JOBS - and they still HAVE these jobs.
