Sorry for the spotted updates this week. I tried to get to the gym twice a day each day this week (hence the “Double Sessions” title). I’m not sure why, really, but those of you that go to the gym know that every now and again you get that surge of energy that lasts for a few days or even a week or so - that’s what I’ve been feeling for the past few days. It’s pretty cool - it reminds me of when I was in high school and I used to lift and run everyday! Of course, now I just walk and do light lifting every other day, but it’s still that “workout high” that so many of today’s athletes feel when they get into their workout regime.

Other than that, I’ll be heading home for the next day or so. I should be able to get all of the updates in for the weekend, but if I don’t - at least now you know why!

Other than my self-imposed double sessions, everything else is fine in my land!

I finished my other book about the facts that aren’t in your history book - it was pretty good! It really gives you an insight into just what really happened with people like Aaron Burr and Benedict Arnold. As a matter of fact, did you know that Benedict Arnold (the big, bad trader against America) was actually one of the men who saved the Revolutionary War for the Americans? If it wasn’t for him and his fighting, the Battle of Saratoga would have been lost and for those of you who know about classic warfare - that Battle changed the tide of the entire Revolution towards the colonies.

Anyway, the book was That’s Not in My American History Book by Thomas Ayres. I suggest checking it out at the local library if interesting facts draw your attention.
