There are a lot of events and happenings that I have yet to post on this blog, but before I get to them I have to tell you about these ridiculous people that were in line ahead of me at Quiznos this morning…

I named them Buffy and Blake because if there were ever two people who could wield those names, it was these two idiots. Buffy was in line ahead of me on her cell phone for most of the time. She kept asking the person on the other line, “Are you here yet? Well, I’m waiting for you so get over here.” Mind you that she did this in a voice such that I’m sure the people in the next store over were looking out for this person, too.

Now I don’t mind if you wait in line and you’re holding a spot or two for some people who are waiting to come, but use your common sense folks. If the person that you’re waiting for is not in the store by the time you get to the counter to place your order, then let the person behind you go in front of you! Buffy didn’t get this concept, so she took her sweet ass time placing her order until the person on the other end of the line - Blake - showed up with little Blake Jr.

So after waiting about 5 extra minutes because this ditzy broad was stalling for her polo-and-khaki shorts wearing husband, I now have to wait for the Blakes to place their order as well. I think you know were this is going…

Five sandwiches later, I’m completely furious. Not only did they order a ton of different sandwiches, but do you think they ordered what was on the menu? Of course not! Buffy had to have her own sandwich created and she definitely thought that she was in a regular deli shop. Quiznos has the meats that you find in their sandwiches - ham, salami, roast beef, chicken, turkey, etc. They don’t have liverwurst…idiot.

And between making the special-style sandwiches, Buffy made sure to remind the girl behind the counter to NOT put them through the oven. At one point, Blake even made the comment to the girl, “Wow, you guys put the sandwiches in the oven automatically.”

What were you expecting?!?!? It’s Quiznos Subs! They’re the “Mmmm…Toasty!” people! They put subs in the oven! The centerpiece of their sandwich making station is the gigantic oven! Damn it!

Anyway, the point is that if you want a regular sub, go to a sub shop. And if you want a toasted sub from a large corporation that has their own selection of subs, go to Quiznos. In either event, don’t waste the time of the people waiting in line behind you - that is just completely ignorant.
