About a month ago I was looking to buy a brand new television. One of these high-end, HDTV-ready machines, you know?

Now, I don’t know if I’m still going to buy one (thank you $560 mechanic bill and $2500 hospital fee), but while looking for more information on the particular television model I came across two interesting opinion websites.

The first is one that you probably know: http://www.epinion.com/

This is a decent website that has some good information and feedback, but is not nearly as entertaining or ridiculous as http://www.my3cents.com/

Dude, some of the comments on My 3 Cents are completely insane! It does seem to me that there are a lot of Cingular complaints and - of course - you have your standard Wal-Mart haters. You know? What is it about Wal-Mart that everyone hates? I could write a whole column on the positive experiences that I’ve had at Wal-Mart…but then again I have had some annoying times there.

I don’t know. It just seems that complaining about Wal-Mart isn’t as impactful as complaining about a cell phone company. And for those of you with Verizon Wireless, you know what it means to have good times and bad times with your cellular provider! I haven’t posted any of my nasty thoughts about this company on the 3 Cents website, but maybe I should.
