What a shame.

Current WWE superstar and former WWE Champion, Eddie Guerrero was found dead in his hotel room Sunday morning. There was no clear cause of death and foul play did not seem to be involved. Eddie was 38 and left behind a wife and three children.

Eddie, as many wrestling fans know, battled many personal demons over the course of his life. He overcame drug addictions, alcohol abuse, low self-esteem, and a number of other disabling qualities that haunted him.

It’s a shame that someone like Eddie Guerrero had to pass away so young. It’s a shame that it had to happen in the prime of his career. And it’s a shame that after battling and overcoming so many personal demons, the damage that he inflicted upon his body from years earlier eventually caught up with him in that hotel room.

Eddie will be missed by all in the wrestling community - co-worker and fan alike. Hopefully, his story can continue to teach fans around the world about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. His life was an inspiration to so many people; let’s hope that his inspirational story continues to spread around the world in his death.
