Some of you may have noticed on my righthand sidebar that I’m back up on the lottery! That’s right - the other day I bought two or three tickets and after a little bit of scratching off and looking around, turns out that I won $29!

I win, the lottery loses. They need to get in the cabin…

Anyway, in no way do I think that the lottery is worth continuing to play on a regular basis. At some point this past summer I lost something like $10 in a week playing the lottery…then gas prices went up. It’s just not worth it to lose that type of money (which could be a few gallons of gas), in this economic climate.

I’ll probably just play the lottery every here and there, I mean it is fun in some respects. But I don’t think I’ll ever spend money on a ticket when I could put that money to better use. Unless, of course, one of my friends and I buy that roll of tickets that we were talking about…
